atra_vortex says: "RPG titles simply don't surface much on the GameCube. The few that do trickle in every now and then are always welcome, even when they are not really all that great (example: the "remix" of Skies of Arcadia, which was not a terrible game but certainly not completely compelling). Tales of Symphonia, however, manages to stand well on its own against some of the classics.... "

Zenax says: "When you hear the word GameCube what is the first thought that seeps into your brain? Nintendo franchises pummeling it out in Super Smash Brothers Melee? Probably. A demonic Spanish-speaking farmer advancing towards you, pitchfork in hand, straight from Resident Evil 4? Maybe that too. An RPG though? Never! This is quite true as the poor Cube, or even the ill-fated Nintendo 64, never saw many games from the genre. In a small handful of RPGs, maybe 40 to 50 tops, a few stood out as ..."
