Legaia 2: Duel Saga review (PlayStation 2) |

Reviewed by Lavieta (November 16, 2007) As a fan of the original Legend of Legaia, I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem while fishing through the bargain bin of my local game store. I was unaware that there even was a sequel, but then, Legaia has always been more of an underground fandom, and like its predecessor, Legaia 2 came on the scene without fanfare or lineups and humbly presented itself to us. |

Legaia 2: Duel Saga review (PlayStation 2) |

Reviewed by psychopenguin (August 31, 2003) For those of you that have talked to me about video games for more than 10 minutes probably know by now, I consider Legend of Legaia to be one of the greatest video games of all time. I even place it number two in my all time greatest video games list, behind only the equally great RPG Final Fantasy VII. It was a truly special game, with awesome battles, a very unique and fun magic system, and an original storyline with 3 of the best characters ever. |

Legaia 2: Duel Saga review (PlayStation 2) |

Reviewed by Sise-Neg (April 07, 2012) Legaia 2: Duel Saga seems to be a throwback to old-school JRPGs, which might satisfy the hardcore RPG gamer looking for some nostalgia. But while striving for the old-school vibe it throws away the many things that made the original Legend of Legaia so innovative and endearing. It is hard for me to recommend this game to fans of the original that may have higher expectations. But then again, it is hard to recommend this game to RPG newcomers as well. |
