Reviewed by Gary Hartley (March 18, 2012) Instead, let’s all listen to people who have never played the game quote the ‘hilarious’ intro until the urge to club them with a half brick becomes too strong. |

Zero Wing review (Genesis) |
|||
Reviewed by Marc Golding (November 23, 2010) Zero Wing is a side-scrolling shooter, of the deliberate, R-Type variety, not the frenetic Thunder Force variety. That in and of itself may seem strange coming from Toaplan, the makers of the prototypically hectic Batsugun and its ilk. But that strangeness isn’t the draw of this mostly mediocre shooter. The draw is the story. |

Zero Wing review (Genesis) |

Reviewed by overdrive (September 16, 2005) If there’s ever been a reason to hate nerds, Zero Wing is it. I have nothing against the actual game, as it’s a reasonably competent Genesis port of what I’d guess was a reasonably decent arcade game. No, what I hate is the absurd amount of notoriety this game has received SOLELY due to a pre-game cutscene featuring inexplicably poor attempts at utilizing the English language. |
