R-Type review (Game Boy) |
Reviewed by Gary Hartley (August 03, 2006) There's no hand-holding, no cheap shortcuts, no easy rides. There is only a game's sadistic glee in the burning wreckage of a R9's mangled hull and a player's insatiable urge to right this wrong. |

R-Type review (Game Boy) |
Reviewed by tomclark (March 07, 2004) There cannot be many systems that haven't hosted an R-Type game at some stage in their lives. The original started life in the arcades many moons ago, and since then we've had conversions, we've had sequels, we've had forays into 3-D (in R-Type Delta), but it always seems to be the original that is the most fondly remembered. Which, in a nice, circular fashion, brings us to R-Type for the Nintendo Game Boy. Bet you didn't see that one coming!! |
