Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge review (Game Boy) |
Reviewed by Marc Golding (December 10, 2003) Where Castlevania: The Adventure was slow and plodding, Belmont’s Revenge is fast paced by Castlevania standards, and is as much fun to play as the best the series, and is about as good as the side-scrolling adventure genre has to offer. Castlevania III and Super Castlevania IV are often considered the best games in the series, and if they are representative of the best 8-bit and 16-bit offerings respectively, then Belmont’s Revenge is easily the best portable title. |

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge review (Game Boy) |
Reviewed by ratking (Date unavailable) After the disappointing Castlevania Adventure Konami knew another Gameboy Castlevania game had to be made, and be made much better. They then created Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge. This game was much more appreciated by the public then the one which game before it, but still it did not have the great feeling those Nintendo Castlevania's game did. However it does have a much better feeling to it. |
