Reviewed by pickhut (May 27, 2008) Trog!, in a nutshell, is a Pac-Man clone with a bit of Bubble Bobble added to the mix. You take control of a dinosaur named Bloop (and Spike, if you're playing two players) and on each island, you'll have to steal all of the one-eyed cavemen's (Trog's) eggs in order to advance to the next island. Of course, the ghosts, erm, Trogs, will come popping out of random holes in attempts to stop you. Like Pac-Man, you can try your best to avoid them, or, if you happen to be so lucky, eat a pinea... |

Reviewed by randxian (April 15, 2010) Trog has been unfairly admonished as being a Pac-Man rip-off. Someone please explain how a game with a slew of power-ups, more enemy attack behaviors, three unique bonus games, and more intricate level design can constitute being a "rip-off." Sure, the main idea is the same - in this case you play as a dino (Pac-Man) as you navigate through single screen mazes while robbing eggs (pellets) from one-eyed cavemen named Trogs (ghosts), who would like nothing more than a nice, juicy d... |

Reviewed by ratking (Date unavailable) Trog is one of the games I play least out of my Classic Nintendo collection. It is a very repitive game. I know that the NES is not known for above-caliber games early on, and that there were many puzzle games. Trog, however, is just an imitation of Pac-Man with a dinosaur. |
