Reviewed by K T (May 13, 2005) At first, you’ll be reduced to throwing lowly rocks at a being so untouchable that, according to the films, shotgun blasts don’t even affect him. |

Reviewed by Sho (July 21, 2004) The NES adaptation of Friday the 13th takes this laughably awful (and sometimes merely “awful”) saga full of campy dialogue, bloody hatchets and lacy perfumed underthings, only to cast them aside in favor of an awkward mix of action and strategy. |

Friday the 13th review (NES) |

Reviewed by JoeTheDestroyer (October 22, 2011) Horny pot-smoking counselors outrunning a masked maniac isn't enough to fill a side-scrolling action game, but it can definitely work for a cheesy film. There isn't enough there to inspire constant interactivity, and just running around and avoiding or killing Jason would be a dull task. However, padding out the finished product with broken ideas is less favorable than not bothering with the project. |
