goldenvortex says: "While Goemon himself is rather recognisable, itís pretty hard to actually pin down where youíve seen him before. Since Iím a Brit, the only Goemon games that I can actually play are this one and its sequel on the N64, due to the fact that they were the only ones translated into the English. Which is a damn shame, considering how enjoyable this title is, but thanks to the wonder of emulation, I managed to enjoy what it had to offer. "

The first of the Western releases, titled Legend of the Mystical Ninja, was released in 1991 with little commercial success. While people were wasting their time playing other games like Super Mario World and Lagoon, or the ''newest'' installment of Mega Man, they could have been playing this fun side scroller from the good people at Konami."
