Reviewed by goldenvortex (January 12, 2007) While Goemon himself is rather recognisable, it’s pretty hard to actually pin down where you’ve seen him before. Since I’m a Brit, the only Goemon games that I can actually play are this one and its sequel on the N64, due to the fact that they were the only ones translated into the English. Which is a damn shame, considering how enjoyable this title is, but thanks to the wonder of emulation, I managed to enjoy what it had to offer. |

Reviewed by lurkeratlarge (January 12, 2004) A quick search of GameFAQs for ''Goemon'' will yield an astounding number of games on systems ranging from the NES to the PlayStation 2, yet closer inspection will reveal that only three have been released in the United States. The first of the Western releases, titled Legend of the Mystical Ninja, was released in 1991 with little commercial success. Nor did either of its successors do all that well (perhaps because they were released on the failing N64), so it's not surprising that Konam... |

Reviewed by sgreenwell (Date unavailable) The Legend of the Mystical Ninja is a neglected gem on the Super Nintendo system. While people were wasting their time playing other games like Super Mario World and Lagoon, or the ''newest'' installment of Mega Man, they could have been playing this fun side scroller from the good people at Konami. |
