Final Fantasy III review (SNES) |

Reviewed by James Gordon (Date unavailable) I'd have to say that the sound quality is also good for 16-bit, and makes the game much better over all. The sound really sets the mood in this game, and I think that it has the same victory music as FFVII, FFV, and FFVII. |

Reviewed by Jason Venter (February 16, 2006) Certainly, you can take that route if you wish. Or… you can slow down and have a good time exploring each of the world’s nooks and crannies. There are even optional monster and towers you can defeat for seriously cool rewards. Much of the game’s second half is optional but cool. You can play however you like, with only a few exceptions. Some choices you make can even affect the game’s plot. |

Reviewed by Lassarina Aoibhell (Date unavailable) The Espers were another thing I loved. They were as powerful as Rydia's Summoned Monsters from FF4, but more useful in that they taught you spells. I also happened to love the spells (but then, is there anything I DON'T love about this game?) |

Reviewed by gbness (April 24, 2004) The Final Fantasy series is definitely one of the best series' ever made. From the first FF, Final Fantasy became a legend. It brought FF3 to FF4, which elevated it to greater heights. Then FF5 and FF6 came out. Although it appears like I'm reviewing FF3, I'm really reviewing FF6. Before FF6 was released for the PlayStation, it was FF3 on the Super Nintendo, or FF3j, whatever you choose to call it. Anyway, as it is the sixth FF, it's what I'm reviewing here. Behold, it's the third best game in t... |

Reviewed by meeptroid (July 23, 2005) Each passing year, dozens of new role-playing games are released. They come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from old classics like Squaresoft‘s Final Fantasy to more profound and modern ones such as Namco’s Tales of Symphonia. If one were to compare the two, they would find a multitude of differences and improvements that only evolution and time could create. The former title lacks much dialogue, has sketchy animation and fails to motivate the player. The second, however, has... |

Reviewed by Ness (December 25, 2007) One of the most popular debates in gaming is determining the best Final Fantasy game. Many people claim VII or X to be the best, many people are also noobs and should be shot for saying such ignorant things. Now that the fanboy flames have been ignited, I present to you what I consider to be the best of the Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy VI. |

Reviewed by overdrive (January 26, 2005) Three Imperial soldiers advance upon the mining town of Narshe in search of an ancient being of pure power — just the thing to help their liege, Emperor Gestahl, solidify his tyrannical hold on the world. Two are mere lackeys of the corrupt ruler, but the third, a young female named Terra, is different. Far greater than her companions, this lady possesses a beauty that far transcends mere appearances. She is destined to help save the world from its corrupting influences — and it will be beautif... |
