After beating through Oracle of Seasons, I knew I had to have the sister game Oracle of Ages. I wanted to find out the whole story, and what had led to the faeries kidnapping. There is a big difference in the 2 games, even though the style is identical.

Nintendo have had several best-selling franchises since the NES days. The most recognisable is almost certainly Pokèmon or Mario, but in terms of pure gaming genius, Zelda must surely top most people's list. For those not in the know, the Zelda series of adventure games was born on the humble NES, way back in the 1980s (remember them? No? Okay, now I feel old).
