There is an unwritten rule that in general, villains are far more interesting than the heroes that inevitably defeat them. While in many cases this is true, I've always found the Batman villains to be a pretty dull bunch. There are one or two exceptions, but Catwoman is not one. Still, I bought Catwoman for the Game Boy Color quite soon after it was released after seeing it brand new for under ten pounds. It didn't change my view of the character one bit.
