Reviewed by Jason Venter (November 24, 2004) It takes only a few seconds to power up, and then you can release much greater devastation. Some enemies won’t even fall unless you know how to take advantage of the technique. Best of all, you get point multipliers through constructive use of your magical arsenal. There’s little more satisfying than nearly ramming a machine just as it bursts into flames, then noticing the ‘x8’ multiplier flashing on the screen. |

Reviewed by disco (August 21, 2006) 2006 is slowly drifting toward its inevitable end. What have we to show for it? We’ve got sky-high gasoline prices, conflicts in the Middle East, a new generation of video game consoles, Snakes on a Plane, and a relatively successful season for the Detroit Tigers. Wow, this year has been a pureed blend of pure awesome and utter lameness. Where are the highly developed AI and the molecular transporters? Isn’t there a cure for the common cold yet?
