Sweet Home review (NES) |

Reviewed by Sho (December 21, 2007) You know, I can remember once seeing this game on the release forecast within the hallowed pages of NINTENDO POWER – man, Nintendo of America must have shit themselves when they got a preview copy, because Sweet Home is the grotesque inspiration for Resident Evil. |

Sweet Home review (NES) |

Reviewed by JoeTheDestroyer (October 31, 2012) Regardless of Sweet Home's lacking challenge factor, the game still won my heart. As a lover of all things horror, from films to literature, playing an NES game that was as brutal as some of my favorite '80s fright flicks was a treat. |

Sweet Home review (NES) |

Reviewed by overdrive (September 11, 2004) Long before Capcom released Resident Evil upon the unwashed masses of gamers, they created Sweet Home for the Famicom. Due to some violent and gory imagery and the common use of prayer to solve problems (a Nintendo of America no-no), this neat little survival horror RPG never reached the shores of America. Too bad that it didn’t, as this quirky little game could have been a sleeper hit due to some innovative aspects. |
